I began dancing at the age of five in Cary, Illinois, and have now been dancing for over 30 years! In 2012, I graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Dance Performance. After graduation, I became the Lead Ballet Instructor at Steps Performing Arts in Lindenhurst, Illinois, where I had the opportunity to teach students of all ages and share my love of ballet and dance. Since moving to Indiana and growing my family, I have continued teaching and I am so excited to be on staff at LM Premier and be able to encourage your children to learn and love dance!

 

Throughout my training, I have studied Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, Variations, Tap, and Character. I have performed in full-length ballets including The Nutcracker, Coppélia, Swan Lake, as well as excerpts from Giselle, Les Sylphides, and Paquita. I have also had the privilege of attending summer intensives with Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Midwest, and Milwaukee Ballet School, and have learned from many talented teachers and professionals along the way.

As a teacher, my goal is to create a class where students feel encouraged, supported, and excited to learn. I believe strong technique and a positive, fun environment go hand in hand. I especially love watching students grow in confidence, celebrate their accomplishments, and discover the joy that dance can bring.

I am so excited to be part of the LM team! Teaching brings me so much joy, and I truly cannot wait to get to know your children, share my passion for dance with them, and watch them learn, grow, make friends, and have fun along the way!
